My post frequency has dropped as I've become busier at work. Not everyone has a job that affords time for 23,575 posts.

In any case, my wife has home teachers and it's lame lame lame.

If people tell the Church not so send hometeachers and they keep coming, what is one supposed to do? Not everyone enjoys crazy people coming to their door on assignment from God.

Mormonism is profoundly narcissitic in the sense that it blatantly disregards the wishes of others in favor of its own interests (e.g., unwanted intruding at people's homes and baptisms for the dead), and the average Mormon is taught that God wants something for non-Mormon people even though those non-Mormon people don't realize that they want it. This is why the Church discriminates against gays and doesn't care if ex-Mormons are harassed by unwanted visits. The individual means nothing, but especially the ex-Mormon individual means nothing. The Church is everything. The ex-Mormon who criticizes the Church is a villain whose view should be disregarded. (Many of you love to mock me and every time you do it, you basically prove my point.)

To put it simply: Mormons believe that when someone says they don't want their door knocked on, that someone deep down really does want their door knocked on but doesn't realize it yet. And somehow the "spirit" will straighten it out and therefore Mormons are never guilty of harassment when they come to people's homes despite specific instructions not to do so.

You have your freedom of religion, but that freedom stops when you show up at someone's house when you've been uninvited over and over.

I just checked and I am now the 58th most prolific poster on this board. That seems low to me. Does everyone here honestly see a post of mine and say to themselves "Hey, it's Clark Addison. There are only 55 or 57 other folks on this board who I am more familiar with than him". Is this why I have never been invited to be on the Executive Committee?

The good news is that FMCoug and Jacob are the next two above me, so I think I have a very real shot of making the top 56 by the end of the year.

Go to "Community > Member List". It will give you a list of everyone in alphabetical order. Click on the "Posts" heading, and it will sort by number of posts.

#2 (Dude) and #3 (Surfah) have indeed passed Triplet in total volume, though JL still has over 18K posts to take the lead.

I'm #40, but about half ahead of me don't post anymore. I'm not sure that a bigger dose of SJS is what this board needs.
