PK is often annoying but I actually think his substance is pretty good. I don't find myself disagreeing much with him even when he is trashing BYU (or Utah). I have noticed in my few years of listening that the local fanbases are convinced that PK intentionally dogs on one school over another....the problem is that each fanbase thinks that their school is the unfair target. I have found him to be fairly equally supportive and critical of both schools.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Yeah he is an equal-opportunity annoyer. He just likes to stir the pot and trolling fans in Utah is so easy he has decided to make a career out of it. I can't listen to him, though.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostPK is often annoying but I actually think his substance is pretty good. One of PK's main problems as I see it is that he tries too often to be funny but is rarely, if ever, funny. He should realize he's never going to be funny, so he should just stop trying. Perhaps then he wouldn't be so insufferable.
Having said that, here I am offering opinions on a couple guys I've listened to for a total of about 45 minutes in the last 15 years. Eff me.I'm like LeBron James.

I think both are pretty even in criticism/praise. I find PK listenable every so often.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostPK is often annoying but I actually think his substance is pretty good. I can even live with his attempts at humor, if he would keep it to a one-liner here and there. But the guy can fill an entire segment chasing a dumb joke that wasn't funny in the first place while doing his best to sabotage DJ's best efforts to salvage it. I don't think he realizes that DJ is doing him a favor - and that when DJ laughs with him he can continue the joke a little longer, but when DJ is trying really hard to move along - maybe he should too, because he sounds like an idiot and DJ is trying to save him some embarrassment.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View PostOne of PK's main problems as I see it is that he tries too often to be funny but is rarely, if ever, funny. I really like DJ - but I've heard him try to carry a show when PK was out of town and it isn't his strength. DJ is at his best when he's got someone in studio to converse with. PK doesn't give him much, and really DJ is earning the money for both of them. I'd love to hear DJ paired with someone else and see how it goes. I think he would do well with about anyone.Originally posted by Shaka View PostI'm not a fan of their show. Personally I'd prefer DJ on his own. He's talented enough to carry an entire show.
Worst radio show EVER was Karl Arky paired with the guy who does the Bees games. They were both so excited to tell stories to each other about people they'd met and things they'd done that they forgot to talk sports or engage the audience. It might've been entertaining for an afternoon - but not EVERY afternoon.

Sure, there is an element of truth to most things he says but he is always over top because his shtick is 100% based on pushing buttons and trolling the fanbases. A goofy, amped-up version of GoMo. Exactly, except I think GoMo enjoys trolling BYU fans more than PK.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostSure, there is an element of truth to most things he says but he is always over top because his shtick is 100% based on pushing buttons and trolling the fanbases. Steve Klauke is the most boring human being on the face of the earth. When I'm driving and click on the radio and hear his voice doing Buzz game or interview or whatever, I can literally see the boredom flowing from the radio dial (yes dial not the speakers) and piercing my body. I feel like I have to immediately change the channel or it will kill me.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View PostSteve Klauke.
