  • Do Mormon wives set a really high bar for us men?

Had a very good discussion with some of my ward brothers about Men outside the church vs Men within the church and how Mormon Men should be highly coveted for all that we do/don't do.

Our wives set a really high bar for us Men and for the most part we comply.

Also had a non-Mormon friend come to church with me a couple of weeks ago and he asked how there are so many hot wives with fat/bald and not so good looking men. Maybe thats the compromise?.
( FYI I most likely wrote that incoherently and will be properly corrected forthwith. Thanks)

Solid employment is the #1 priority women are looking for in a husband, more than compatibility in raising children or in moral and religious beliefs, according to a Pew Research Center study released Wednesday. Having the same education or racial/ethnic background are far lower on the list.

    Yep, I'm a catch.

I assumed that it was because we married women while they were too young to realize what a dumb mistake they were making in marrying us.

The answer may be yes. And judging by the waistlines, hairstyles, and clothes I see here in the 'tah, I'm guessing Mormon men set the bar pretty low.

Other than being good at blonde dye jobs... I'm not impressed with Mormon women on the whole.

just because your wife might not be impressive at other types of jobs doesn't mean all mormon women are unimpressive.

Or a new one I saw recently--organizing homes. The message is basically, "Yeah, my house might be a total mess, but I'll come organize yours."
                              Not that, sickos.
