Does the Church consider that military adventure where a charming silver tongued leader took "command" of 100 other equally clueless "SOUL-jers" on some ill advised jaunt to save LDS members assets in Missouri a success? When evaluated based upon simple cost benefit analysis, success in stated political goals or even numbers of dudes shot in the gut on the Crooked River it was an abysmal failure. How does the Church treat it? Their perspective is very, very long term and my opinion is the experience for its filmakers will be success enough.
