Any formal fasts for moisture today?

We invited everyone where I am at to fast for moisture nonlds people as well. Someone said it was to be from 4 on Saturday to 4 on Sunday. I didn't hear that myself. Like all other Fast Sundays for me it ended when I get home from church. When Yoshihiku Kikuchi came to our Stake Conference seemed like every week was Starvation Sunday. But I think now they tell you not to have additional fasts besides regular Fast Sunday.

Missionaries are told not to fast too frequently, and if you fasted for every sick individual, wayward child, investigator and such good way to starve to death. Besides fasting won't take away another's agency or the appointment of the Lord. We are fasting for moisture today in Idaho though.

The Russian word for moisture is very closely related to the Russian word for vagina. When somebody says moisture in Church I can't help but think vagina. That's all I got. Sorry Grape.

We have been instructed to do so here in the Bay Area. It started raining this morning. Not sufficient for our needs, though.

Was the rain at least moist?

I keep praying that I can convince my wife we should move somewhere less cold.

This is true but it actually started during the night and I think it might actually be related to the fact I finally washed my car yesterday.

              влагалище versus влажность?

You think those two sound similar? That is either quite a stretch or you are needing your wife?

Okay. Makes sense now. Why are you not an OBGYN?

Yes, our stake was asked to fast for rain today. And surprise, surprise, it's raining right now.

Of course, my weather app told me last week that it was going to rain tonight, long before anyone fasted for it.

Who needs a rain dance when there are dirty cars to be washed?
                      Not that, sickos.

Someone from the church should tell Governor Brown about the efforts, however. The Mormons should be recognized for doing their part with y'all's drought problem. After the prop 8 thing the church could use a little good PR in your state.

As California's drought worsens, Gov. Brown urges conservation

Gov. Jerry Brown provided some very practical guidance for Californians amid a deepening drought: Take shorter showers, turn off the water while brushing teeth, and "don't flush more than you need to."

"Make no mistake, this drought is a big wakeup call," Brown said Thursday in downtown Los Angeles before meeting with local water district officials. "Hopefully it's going to rain. If it doesn't, we're going to have to act in a very strenuous way in every part of the state to get through."

The governor's pragmatic plea came as wet weather finally moved through northern portions of the state, which has been in an extraordinary dry period during what is normally the time for rain and snow.

Today I'm fasting for snow on the East Coast. Fingers crossed.

I wish there wasn't a delayed reaction. Looks like the rain is headed to St. George just when I arrive on Friday. I won't complain though as I know we all need rain more than I need a nice weekend in the Sun.

Unfortunately, we've been one-upped by the Muslims. Saturday, just before our fast kicked in, Muslims gathered at the fairgrounds a short distance from my home and sent one up ahead of us. The rain started a few hours later.
