I prefer the transhumanoid mormons. They are way funnier.

So they are basically a club with their common identity being a mormon culture but not religion.

I will admit I didn't get through their whole statement. If someone did, is their aim to eventually have the LDS be recognized as a cultural organization rather than a religious organization?

To me this is weird. Why call yourself progressive mormon while hating mormonism. Why the need of name association?
( FYI I most likely wrote that incoherently and will be properly corrected forthwith. Thanks)

Isn't the progressive Mormons the RLDS or CoC or whatever they call themselves today?

              Terrible Our Values statement.

              How about:

              1. We define and claim Mormonism primarily as a cultural heritage and identity.
              2. We believe in the basic principles of the LDS gospel: faith, repentance, love, worship, sacrifice, service, obedience.
              3. We hold a wide range of views on specific doctrine and scripture. We accept the possibility of viewing scripture as non-literal. We believe it's acceptable to hold a healthy amount of skepticism towards written scripture and prophetic counsel. We believe it's OK to respectfully voice an opposing view on certain doctrines, practices, or historical interpretations.
              4. We believe the LDS church is a great organization with great members that is moving in the right direction with respect to social issues, and we want to be a part of that movement.

It seems that they are one Value/AOF short. I was expecting to read about 13 values.

In my view, there's a lot of overlap between the LDS church and this progressive mormonism group, as one might expect. I did like value #9:" We believe in generously donating our time and financial resources to worthy causes that are financially transparent.

Yeah, their values statement looks like they all got together and threw up every single thing they could think of to try and make sure they were inclusive but not too Mormon. Very poorly done but I'd expect nothing more from them. My guess is they have a couple professionals/lawyers/HR people that just can't get away from having the structure of a corporation run every bit of their life.

Didn't Mormon Stories try to come up with a Values statement at some point? I remember it being much shorter, but also very corporateese-ish.
