Awesome.
But I hope he hurries home and works on another book. Look at his white hair. The clock is ticking!"There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

You might want to be careful. SU is in one of his moods this week.Originally posted by YOhio View PostIf he were a literary critic I bet he would think the Book of Mormon is worthy of exegesis."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? This would be good for SU to have to prove he's correct rather than make a snarky comment or think that his opinion is the only one that matters.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostYou might want to be careful. This made me laugh. I always thought it was a shame that McCullough hasn't written more and found his calling relatively late in life. If you ask me, he's the one doing the Lord's work. What I know of his personal life makes me think he's lived one of the better lives.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Post

I don't know, I seem to recall that he spent almost ten years writing the Truman bio. He has been cranking them out since the 70's. That's a remarkable body of work if you ask me.Originally posted by Levin View PostThis made me laugh. I wonder how much his appearance fee was.

He spoke at commencement at the U last week. I am sure they piggy-backed on that visit.Originally posted by Non Sequitur View PostI wonder how much his appearance fee was.

Sounds like the guy has lost it.“You are caring for a national treasure here. The story of the Latter-day Saints, of Joseph Smith, of Brigham Young, and that incredible migration here is a great American story.”Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
