    The Believer Thread

Believe it or not, LAUte has managed to pull off a Believer Thread -- on Utahby5. If you want a thread that's welcoming to and respectful of traditional non-progressive LDS belief, you won't find it on Cougar Stadium. Go to Utahby5 for that. It's a can't miss for Neil A. Maxwell quotations fans. (No, you won't find me in that thread; I'll be respectfully absent.)

When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

It's only because you're both mods over there. You won't ruin the thread out of respect for a fellow mod and other antagonists won't post in it due to fear of retribution from LAU.

Posting in a believer thread on CS/CUF is like volunteering to sit in the county fair dunking booth, except that none of the proceeds literally or figuratively involve charity.

No kidding. Good of SU to come here and announce to everyone that he's only rude to BYU fan believers. What a guy.

I thought he was just goading us to go post in LA Utes thread over there since he doesn't have the balls to do it himself.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I haven't been by UB5 since the launch but if SU is over here recruiting I worry about its viability.

If it has SU bearing his testimony, it has to be good.

It should not be a suprise that Utahby5 board is more tolerant toward all -- including believers -- than Cuf/CS.

This thread needs to be renamed to something more representative of its actual contents.

SU has now posted twice in this thread, self fulfilling the prophesy that we could not have this type of thread work here.

                          His work is done.

I don't those two terms are synonymous.

                              Believer Thread, good Idea.

I always liked Day Dream Believer over Last Train to Clarksville. I believe that for every drop of rain that falls, a flower grows.
