We have one young man in our ward that has been up at BYU-I this past year in the music program. Well during the year he meets someone up their that he likes and has told everyone that he is gay. Other then the parents of the friends of this kid I don't think anybody got really worked up over this. During Ward Council today the YM leader suggest that they try and get this kid to attend High Adventure this summer. I don't think he will go but it got me wondering how many parents would keep their boys from going if they knew this kid was going.

I wouldn't keep my kid from going because the kid was going. As a matter of fact, I would advise my kid of the situation and tell him to make sure he treated the young man fairly and not join in in any teasing should it occur.
I would advise him though not to take a leak while he was around.Comment
