So, the church has a new teaching curriculum for the youth. KSL has a great story about how LDS youth are loving the new teaching program and it has made a difference. The story is all about how the new teaching is getting youth from all over the country, errr, all over the Copperview 4th Ward in Riverton. Copperview 4th Ward's experience with it and specifically one family. Thats pretty exciting that the new program has 'LDS youth excited and anxiously engaged.' Sounds like a problem with the teacher (no offense, JL). When teaching the youth I always try to reach out to them by speaking their "language." Saying things like "Alma was a gnarly prophet" and "Scriptures are the bomb" can go a long way in letting the youth know that a teacher "gets them."Originally posted by UteStar View PostComment
