I'm the oldest guy in EQ now. Is it time to ask for a bump up or should I stay and share all of my wisdom with the young guys?

Whatever the answer is to that question...I'd go with.

You don't even need to be a hp to attend it...just talk to the bish and go if that is where all your friends are.

My biking buddies are in the EQ but my golfing buddies are in the HP so I'm torn. My third option is to tell both quorums I'm attending the other one and just go home early.

Take the Bronco Mendenhall approach and make both groups actively recruit you.

I found the HP lessons to be vastly superior to the EQ lessons in our ward. I don't care that I am the youngest one.

This is what may eventually push me over the edge. Our lessons in EQ are just brutal. I get much more out of this forum then I do those lessons.

Last week, the EQP taught our lesson for Fast Sunday. His intro: "I don't believe in lesson prep because I think we should follow the Spirit in class."

The entire lesson was a series of awkward silence and non-responses to inane questions like, "can anyone here share a personal story that relates to what we just read?" or "does anyone have any thoughts on that scripture?"
