    Elder's Quorum lesson

    Here's how I'm planning to start my lesson today on Chapter 17 of the GAS manual (The Strengthening Power of Faith):

    This is a very tough time for me personally. Faith has been really hard to come by recently. As some of you are already aware, for the third consecutive year, we lost to Utah last night in a mistake-filled performance.

    This coming Thursday, I had planned to purchase tickets to the BSU game, with faith that we would avenge our prior losses to the Broncos. Today, that faith has dissipated. While I still hope for victory, I'm not sure that I have the requisite faith to buy tickets.

    I need your strength, brethren, and I hope that by the end of this quorum meeting that my faith will be restored to an actionable state.
