"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

I think BYU promotes the higher law. No beards, no tats, no caffeine.
Only those with our C&EMS can sport beards and not risk hellfire.
"Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.

I will say this.. The thought of having a Mtn Dew in LaVell Edwards Stadium would be heavenly...

Once in a while the powers that be have to snub the "look beyond the mark" ultra-orthodox types.
We'll have caffeinated drinks displayed on BYU campus (and not just hidden away in professors' fridges) by 2020. BYU-I will have them displayed by 2045.
You go on national TV to represent the Church and what you say requires the Church to issue an official press release correcting your misinformation.
I bet Mrs. 2% feels like sh** today. And I bet her husband is drinking a Dr. pepper as we speak, probably with a smug grin on his face. Viva the 98%! We will prevail!
I posted on my FB page for half a second until I realized how stupid it was that I was bragging that the Church's health code didn't prevent me from drinking, sugary, carbonated beverages that are worse for me than a cup of black tea.
Did they change the text? I don't see the "doesn't go beyond this" sentence anymore?

Despite what was reported, the Church does not prohibit the use of caffeine. The Church’s health guidelines, known in our scriptures as “the Word of Wisdom” (Doctrine and Covenants 89), prohibits alcoholic drinks, smoking or chewing of tobacco and “hot drinks” — taught by Church leaders to refer specifically to tea and coffee. The restriction does not go beyond this.

Lol.
I'm trying to imagine the thinking that prompted the inclusion of the inaccurate and extraneous sentence in the first place. And then what prompted its removal.
Our PR department is so weird.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah
