If members or LDS or other faith for whom it is applicable here were to assess the components parts, how would they rate the importance in the continuance of the faith?

Listed under Salvic Sensation. Externally a believer can never prove the truth, but one might sense it for one's own conviction. It doesn't matter from an external observer's perspective if it is "true", but how the practitioner perceives it.

Goddamn particle because it's so hard to prove its existence. The Illinois facility believes it had some success and now Switzerland has the sole facility for finding the particles during momentary "popping" into existence.

They've found something that resembles the Higgs Bosom, but the scientists are falling short of calling it the Higgs Bosom, for now. At least that is my understanding.
