Are all the disgruntled Mos going to post this story separately? I guess that sort of increases the effect, so it makes sense to do it that way.

This reminds me of a podcast I ran across a couple of years ago. It was a couple of exmo types interviewing a former maintenance worker at the COB who claimed President Monson was having multiple affairs with a harem of young, nubile LDS women. They seemed to think that this news was going to bring the Church to its knees. I don't recall hearing anything more about it, but maybe I just missed it.

I got the impression this is a separate story, but I'm to ambivalent to confirm my impression.

I wonder if this forthcoming article is responsible for the Church revising their tithing fund slips?

Probably about how the Church redistributes missionary funds to cover the expenses of the more expensive missions. Along the lines that the Elders in Brazil pay the same amount as the Elders in Japan, even though the Brazilian mission expenses would be about 1/3rd.

yeah in the words of Biden, BFD. Left over funds donated for the Nauvoo Temple were used in crisis relief or church farms. OH NOES!!

Despite being totally inactive, I have donated to the perpetual education fund every year since it was started. I'd find it disturbing if the church hadn't been honoring the choice I made to give this money to the PEF and had been using it for some other purpose.

I'd be pretty ticked if my tithing money went anywhere other then the box I choose. Bet that is the reason why they changed the tithing sheets.
