Just got home from picking up the youngest from Boy Scout camp. Five merit badges (four for Eagle) completed and one typhoon evacuation survived. On drive home with some of the other boys I found out that they had an interesting encounter with an adult leader from another troop. At dinner one night the adult leader across from them prayed before eating so they asked if he was LDS. He said no, but that he was a Christian. He then asked them about their religion and they answered LDS. He asked about their beliefs and then proceeded to tell them how their beliefs did not square with the Bible, quoting scripture and verse. As one of the boys said, "He was bible-bashing us."
Nonetheless, our Mormon boys answered with conviction, remaining valiant and steadfast in their faith.
