Oh wait, she died the next day, so it's not a miracle? Or was it?
How the hell does a toddler survive being blown 10 miles by a tornado? ModernMiracle?

She survived initially, she didn't die until the next day. She almost survived. Fact is she traveled, presumably airborn, for TEN miles before she was found in a field. How does that happen without intervention from a superior being? But if it was a miracle, why did she just die the next day?
It's a conundrum.

The article I found on Drudgereport.com was mistaken, as I initially suspected. No miracle here folks, move along. It was only 150 yards, and the poor girl's dumb family was seen holing hands and praying in their hallway of their mobile home by a man who offered to take them to a more secure place. They declined.Originally posted by woot View Post
Lesson learned here: Praying won't stop a tornado from ripping up and tossing around a mobile home. If you must live in a mobile home, be aware of tornado warnings and go to a secure building with a basement.

Dead children is not a pretty sight. The parents in this family refused to humble themselves before the storm and instead chose to demonstrate their faith in God. Well, they all met a terrifying and horrible death. Had their faith in God not been so over-powering, they probably would have taken their neighbor's advice and moved to a more secure location.Originally posted by Viking View PostWriting what you did is no way to respect the dead, smart or not.

This story has religious undertones, and if you can't handle the discussion, feel free not to participate. I tell things how they are, I don't take into consideration the feelings of this "community".

My twin is evil, but he is already on the board. Also, my super-ego is pretty ineffective/worthless, as you are aware.Originally posted by Donuthole View PostThat's not Moose. That's JIC's evil twin. You know how President Hinckley said he doesn't worry about those who pray? The same can be said for men who are self-aware enough to know when there's a life to be lived outside of the world of video games. - Anonymous

I saw a picture yesterday of a house that had been destoyed by a tornado. In the kitchen area, amidst the rubble was a plate of undisturbed, though dusty, cupcakes.
