    How much you fast??

Mrs and i were having a discussion about the appropriate time for a fast. She grew up with a solid 24 hour fast. I grew less rigid in my sacrifice and usually just didnt eat on Sun til after the sacrement.

Gosepl Princliples and D&C state two meals. Just wondering everyones thought on what constitutes two meals for a fast?

I much fast. I much faster when younger, though.

I count skipping breakfast and brunch as a fast.

Right now, my fast usually goes from about 8:45 a.m. to about 12:30 p.m. on Sundays.

              I've become a terrible faster.

Without food, my blood sugar gets low and I become shaky and irritible. I also feel like I am operating in a mental fog.

Not what I would call great conditions for worship.

Pretty much this, except instead of "midnight", it is when I go to bed (I can't stay up to midnight anymore), and instead of "after church" it is when I get dinner made, which is usually about 1.5 hours after church.

So when we have 1:00 church, fasting is almost 24 hours. When we are on the early schedule, it comes in a bit shy of that.

I used to be a strict 24 hour fast kind of guy, but haven't fasted much of late. But when ever I do fast I always chew a stick of gum so that I don't have "fasting breath"

Through trial and error I have discovered that fasting during a period when I am actively exercising is a good way to end up in the hospital. So I haven't fasted in about 3 years.

20 is almost 24. I don't like to be phasaical about things.

I fasted this last weekend. After dinner, Saturday 6pm, I opened my fast and ended after the Bishop's youth fireside and break the fast dinner with them at about 5 pm the next day.

When I am fasting for a purpose I try and go about 24 hours if I can.

Your ward is one of those wards? Leaders think it is a good idea to have a fireside on Super Sunday? I hope the youth lessons were also on keeping the Sabbath holy.
