When all is said and done, this pint sized woman with the big brain and bigger heart might be one of the most influential Mormons of her era. Would not surprise me at all.
She is awesome. I am a big fan.

This is right on the front page of CNN right now, BTW. Not tucked away in some corner.

Not last time I checked. Kindle only.

You should try the Kindle app on your iPad. I installed it to read this book and I like it.

Either way. When you install the app you enter your amazon account info and then when you go back to amazon it lists your app/device and when you purchase it will send it directly to your app. I think you can also order directly from the app.

Price is only $3.99 for electronic copy. She must be self-publishing.

I went to go see her speak by Trinity Place in the FiDi in NYC yesterday AM. It was the first time I'd seen her in person and really cldn't have been more impressed. She's passionate about the good things (as she sees them) in LDS practice and articulates them beautifully. I've rarely felt better-represented by another Mo in a non-Mo setting. Remarkably the first five questions or so during the Q&A were all from African Americans and she was very good at handling the race issue.

I chatted with her for a bit after (as well as McKay Coppins, who, it turns out, is an extraordinarily nice guy) and a couple of old Student Review peeps who, like Joanna, knew my bro at BYU. The object of the banter was mostly focused on the fact that McKay - the only Daily Universe alumnus - was the only one present with neatly combed hair, shined shoes and a real suit.

I got it. She'll make a pretty penny on this.

I like her writing style. I notice a little "Tommy Monson" here and there and I wonder if she's exhibiting a little irony?

I just finished the book. I thought the prop 8 chapter made the entire book a must read for any mormon boy or girl.

it was good. light; easy; finished it in about 35 minutes of straight reading

(reading fast is one of my superpowers. I calculated that I read at least 500 pages a day, between company reports, news, etc.)

You just read the entire book in 32 minutes? It took me that long just to read BKP's Little Factory pamphlet.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

It's nuts. I'm embarrassed to admit it.
