    Mormonism/Scientology Connection

I discovered another connection between Mormonism and Scientology today: The Baptist Brain.

A Baptist doctor walked up to me today and said: Who founded the Mormon Church anyway? Wasn't it Hubbard?

We are just like Scientology to the average Baptist, folks.

I don't doubt that there was a member either now or at some point in time named LaRon Hubbard. He's often confused with the Sci-Fi novelist.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”
