yes it was, and I hope I live to see the day of an equally controversial change to the sleeveless female garment.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostThat change in the 20's was highly controversial.Dio perdona tante cose per un’opera di misericordia

I am hoping for a simple wristband that we can all wear.Originally posted by pellegrino View Postyes it was, and I hope I live to see the day of an equally controversial change to the sleeveless female garment.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

I'd love that... but for now I'd be happy with a garment top that had a normal collar instead of doily lace. The sleeves would be okay if they just weren't so floppy. I could also use some bottoms that are more like biker shorts. The waist-high thing just doesn't work... I have to roll down my garment waist just 'cause it's awkward to have it sit a few inches above my jeans. Then I buy tall tops (even though I'm short) so that my top is long enough to tuck. The men's garments are okay because they look like shorts and a T. Since d e l i b e r a t i o n over small changes seems to happen I'm looking forward to something sort of stylin' in let's say.... five years????Originally posted by pellegrino View Postyes it was, and I hope I live to see the day of an equally controversial change to the sleeveless female garment.

They make the biker short- under armor type bottoms for men. They were a life saver on my week long backpacking trip this summer. I didn't have to pull out the Gold Balm a single time for chafing.Originally posted by RoseBud View PostI'd love that... but for now I'd be happy with a garment top that had a normal collar instead of doily lace. all valid complaints I hear weekly if not daily. I don't know who is designing those things for women, but they don't give much thought to a woman's body. I would think that transitioning from normal underwear to the garment is much more difficult for women and it's not because they wore immodest clothes before they went to the temple and are trying to wear them now. What would it take to updated that with some of the features of modern female underwear? You'd think a built in bra would be a no brainer.Originally posted by RoseBud View PostI'd love that... but for now I'd be happy with a garment top that had a normal collar instead of doily lace. I can't even imagine Beehive Clothing tying to do a bra. LOL! They can't even get simple underwear and undershirts right that fit most women.Originally posted by pellegrino View Postall valid complaints I hear weekly if not daily. A bra is not a simple thing and a well-fitting bra is important. I can't imagine that disaster that would be.

You know... I held back tears looking in the dressing room mirror the first time I went shopping after I was endowed. I am NOT a shopper and my tears had nothing to do modesty. (I've never really cared for the kind of attention I get when I wear immodest clothes.) It's just that the garments were so ugly. I stood there thinking that wearing ugly underwear was one of the sacrifices I needed to make for God. I bet that's a fairly common thought among women. So warped....Originally posted by pellegrino View Postall valid complaints I hear weekly if not daily. Ohhh... and the bra is another issue. The over the garments vs. under the garments issue. What a mess. It just doesn't work to put a bra over garments.Originally posted by Portland Ute View PostI can't even imagine Beehive Clothing tying to do a bra. LOL! Seriously, what is up with the female bottoms? one cool thing they might want to do......female garment bottoms with normal underwear sewn over the Gs. Basically you are buying the bottom half of a Nacho Libre-style pro-wrestling outfit. This would save grandmothers the world over the effort of having to purchase and wear both simultaneously. And btw, grandmothers......it isn't working....that slimming effect you are going for.....Originally posted by pellegrino View Postall valid complaints I hear weekly if not daily.
