Only read this thread if you cannot be offended.

Here is Hasa Diba Eebowai filmed live.

This is the song where the Ugandans sing "F U" to Heavenly Father. Only watch this if it's very difficult for you to be offended.

I would like to watch this, but I'm worried I'll be offended. Can you give me a heads up on whether or not this would be offensive?
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

      That was awesome.

I was talking to this girl at the gym the other day about my odd relationship with God and said, "If God told me to do something I didn't want to do, I'd tell him where he could stick it." I think she set a record for number of blinks in a minute. Haha! Great clip.

I was offended, but mainly by the videography and poor sound quality. It was like a bootleg film taken by Kramer on Seinfeld.

If it wasn't for the singing and dancing, they would be pretty decent shows.

3D is about to sing and dance you into submission. Someone cue up the music to Oklahoma!

I'd be curious enough to watch this if it ever comes through slc. There are a dozen higher on my list if I'm in NYC.

I really wonder how much the success of this has to do with Prop 8 and how much with the quality of the musical. Watching that clip partially confirms that suspicion (although I realize that you can't judge something from a 5 minute clip). A mix of physical comedy, south park style potty humor, shallow stereotypes about African culture and difficulties--I just don't see that winning 20+ Tonys in any other year.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

                          lol. Are you being serious?

How does this plot synopsis grab you for a lousy, short lived broadway musical: a bunch of cats running around a junkyard. At the very end, two cats fly away in a spare tire.

I've had two people (one a never-Mormon, the other an active Mormon) tell me it's their favorite musical they've seen, and they've both seen all the big broadway musicals. I haven't seen it but plan to.

Wait, didn't a puppet show--a show wherein the puppets curse frequently and mimic sexual intercourse--win a handful of Tonys a few years back? I'm not sure the bar is as high as people would like to think it is.
