i've always been curious as to how you non-sports guys found your way to some message boards that revolve around college athletics.

The posts in non-sports forums on this site out number those in the sports forums but a large margin.

CB and CG are solely devoted to sports?

cb? maybe not solely, but is it not a bit odd that someone with no interest in sports would end up there?

I don't get why that saddens you. I'm not sad that there are so many sports posts. Do you feel that the non-sports stuff diminishes the sports side of things?

You're not alone on here. However, you may be the only one with enough self-awareness to realize it.
