The Carlino thread got me thinking about this, I'm wondering if any of you have firsthand knowledge as former recruits, parents of recruits, etc...
How is the chastity portion of the HC presented to non-LDS recruits?
I would think this would require some serious sales skills, and they probably pitch it to the parents first to get their buy-in, right?
Do you think they're given a detailed list of what's okay--things that won't get them kicked off the team--and what's not okay?
Remember, they didn't grow up in the LDS church so I can see value in such a list to improve the chances of keeping them around, but that would still seem kind of odd to me.
Are non-LDS expected to live the LOC at the exact same level as LDS are?
