I think you are the one confused about proof. I was pointing out to our good friend BlueHair that revelation, at least by my definition, can only be measured a prosteriori. Which makes the scientific method a bit difficult to use.

Are you serious? Where is the empirical evidence for revelation? You either accept revelation on faith or you don't. If you try to bring logic into the argument, you're going to get beat down every time.

As an aside, this post made me chuckle, as it reminded me of a former co-worker who used to always go on about her uncle's prostrate cancer.
