  • Woodhenge, Mounds, and the BOM.

About 1000 years ago, Cahokia was a huge Native American (Jewish) city that rivaled the size of London (population may have been as high as 40,000). Just went and visited the archeological site recently. Since it bolstered my testimony of the BOM, and also because it's a cool place, I thought I'd share:

    The biggest mound:

    Woodhenge:

I can totally see King Benjamin doing his thing in this kind of city:

I grew up near the Etowah Indian Mounds. They were really cool to visit. Some archaeological digs recently found evidence that they traded with Spaniards in the 16th Century.

My interest in Hopewell culture is already documented.

I've had 2 or 3 people assure me that the petroglyphs at Bloomington Park near St. George, UT, are a pictographic description of the (LDS) Plan of Salvation. I haven't been, so I won't comment.

Come on Sooner. Everybody knows the BOM took place in Mexico/Guatemala. The debate is over.

I had a Meixcan lady tour guide in Cancun assure me that there were Egyptian glyphs near both the Ogden and Provo temples left by Nephites letting us know where the future temples should be placed.
