I'm going with a framed Photoshopped picture of BKP holding a white shirt in one hand and a tie in the other with a look on his face to the effect of "you'd better be wearing these".
Get him one of those little key chain oil vials, but fill it with Pixie Stix dust. Give him some refills, because those vials won't hold much dust. Later in life, he will either use it for sacred oil or cocaine, depending on his life's choices.
This is what I got, I highly recommend it. Looks like it's still available on ebay. If not, I think I may still have my copy and I'd be happy to give it to whomever for the price of shipping.
I knew there was very little chance of this, but from the front page your post said "Gift ideas for Deacon...." I was really really hoping when I clicked and the full title was revealed it would be "Gift ideas for Deacon Jones".
I our ward the Deacons quorum presidency usually goes to the new Deacon's house at 6am on the Saturday before the ordination and wakes him up (the parent's are obviously told in advance). They then put him in the leaders car and everyone goes to breakfast at the local IHOP or Dennys. The kids enjoy this much more than getting a pen with "Choose the Right" inscribed on it.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I love that tradition. What a cool way to welcome someone into the quorum.

That is cool. I'm going to forward this to our YM pres.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.
