FWIW, I actually like the Provo temple, pre-angel Moroni. I loved coming down Univ. Avenue at night and looking over and seeing the temple lit up and it literally looks like it was floating on a cloud. Very surreal and I believe that was the intended effect as the design was influenced by Exodus 13:21-22

21 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:
22 He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.

Although my wife and I were married elsewhere, she responded quickly, "That's where Mommy got married and Daddy got josephed." This reflects the level of doctrinal instruction all of our children received.

Also, this photo doesn't do the setting justice, but the chapel in Nice, France is in a stunning location on Mt. Cimiez, scant yards from the ruins of a Roman-era amphitheater and the home of Henri Matisse

I love the old pioneer tabernacles in Utah. We hold our stake conferences in the Provo Tabernacle:



Tiny Loa, Utah has one of the coolest buildings anywhere.

This one obviously has a special place in my heart.

I was married there and my grandparents lived on a hill that looked out to the temple.

It really is a cool temple. It helps that it is out in the middle of no where. There used to be grain elevators out there that competed with it, but I think they are all gone.
