Going to the Temple tomorrow....

For the 1st time in 3 years. (That didn't involve a youth baptism. I have probably been on 15 of those in the last 3.)

The Elders get to go to the Temple once a year if they can find someone to take them. We aren't taking the Elders from our ward, but some about 45 miles away. He was a greenie in our ward and he really hit it off with our family. He is from some small town in Idaho and reminds me of Goatnapper. He tells us how it is whether we want to hear it or not. A real genuine kid.

The wife and I aren't big fans of the temple, and normally don't attend. But service is something we like doing and Elder Kelly has been after us for a year to take him to the temple.

Will see how it goes.

And it went very well.

The last time I went was 2.5 years ago when one of my YM took his endowments out for his mission. My wife...much much longer. But we have some serious things we are considering and couldn't think of a better place to go to for some help.

Need to remember that the 10:30 session on Saturday's is Spanish. You have to wear the headsets and it becomes cumbersome. Last time my wife and I went together was a Spanish session also. We grabbed a schedule for next time.

For anyone that doesn't know...the LA Visitors Center was closed for 3 years and reopened 2 months ago. It is state of the art and absolutely fantastic. Going to take the kid and the FIL down there this Christmas season.
