I would think that post-Mormonism would make it maybe a little less terrifying. But you are right, danimal should not kick the bucket.
Given recent revelations, I am worried about Danimal's heart giving out.

Seems like many who have left already would have no problem with the polyandry aspect.
At least according to John Dehlin's descriptions of the Mormon Stories conferences.
Maybe it'd keep a few of those folks in the fold, so to speak.
Aside from those folks, those within the Church that want to be within the Church would probably accept it as divine intervention and given from God through his servants.
There seems to be a strong pull to be part of a community when you are LDS or former LDS, etc.
I don't see the reinstatement of polyandry as being sufficiently strong enough to chase people from the gravity of being part of the community.
Oh, I suppose a few might leave. Join the MS crowd. Start wife-swapping. But how is that any different?
