This show starts out slow but does a great job of illustrating the short comings of the historicity of the BOM

It shows how much historical evidence we have of the bible and the almost complete lack of evidence of the book of mormon.

It is an hour long because they do a good job of trying to show how much historical evidence is missing.

after watching this program it is painfully evident that there is something wrong with the historicity of the book of mormon.

I wasn't quite convinced. Could you send me some pamphlets or something?

On a related note, I'm not entirely convinced that there were ancient people in the Americas at all. There are some evidences (i.e. Mayan temples), but where are the scrolls preserved for millennia in desert caves? Where is the Greek language translation of the BoM? Clearly there should be parallels.

Its nice that it fell to a small Christian church based in a storefront in Brigham City to expose the BoM for the falsehood it is. I would expect them to have the resources to do this right.

They should send a couple of their young men around to tell us about it.

Wait... does it talk about the lack of evidence for pre-columbian horses in the americas? Let me introduce you to some new and exciting research from Uncle Ted...

So where did these vast civilizations take place? Was it the Mayan? no. Was it the mound builders? no

                        Must have been in California.

That's what I'm saying. I don't think there WERE any vast civilizations. If there were, we'd have the documents to prove it. These things survive remarkably well in the jungle.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I had no idea! For you see, I have been on Mars for the past decade. In a cave. With my eyes closed, and my fingers in my ears.

You're preaching to the wrong audience, friend. We already know all about the historicity issues, but there's no reason to change things as long as we're on the receiving end of the tithing flow. (Don't tell me you really believed that it actually cost that much to build those cheap chapels, now.)

Please show me the evidence that Jews were actually enslaved in Egypt, or evidence that the Earth is 6000 years old.
