  • Moroni and Horn Hegemony

Why do the Moroni statues have a bugle/blowgun? I like the idea of Moroni with a trombone or french horn.

We all trust our own unorthodoxies.

The temple in Pretoria has him blowing a vuvuzela.

My larger concern is that Moroni's horn could indeed be a vuvuzela. This could threaten the testimony of untold numbers. Has the First Presidency released a statement on the matter yet?

Nothing in Revelations 14:6-7 refers to any kind of musical instrument. I am more concerned about the repeated references elsewhere in the Standard Works to a sounding "Trump."

          I find them very disturbing.
