I learned in church today
I learned today that, starting in January, the parishioners of my current ward will have to drive by our current chapel (and about six more) to travel for weekly worship services because our current building is over utilized and another building 25 minutes away is under utilized. Fortunately, we move out in a month.
Press forward Saints.Last edited by Dwight Schr-ute; 11-15-2015, 04:59 PM.I told him he was a goddamn Nazi Stormtrooper.

The visitors center brings lots of people to the church who might not otherwise have been interested. Eventually some of those people even make it to the temple. In reality, we need both visitors centers and temples.Originally posted by LVAllen View PostServicing 100,000 people in a wide geographical area?Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We did that for about a year - traveling from Trop and Town Center to Rainbow and Twain. Sucked. Now I have two different buildings within 3 minutes of my house.Originally posted by Dwight Schr-ute View PostI learned today that, starting in January, the parishioners of my current ward will have to drive by our current chapel (and about six more) to travel for weekly worship services because our current building is over utilized and another building 25 minutes away is under utilized. Been there. For a while we were going to a building that was the fourth closest to our house, 30 minutes away.Originally posted by Dwight Schr-ute View PostI learned today that, starting in January, the parishioners of my current ward will have to drive by our current chapel (and about six more) to travel for weekly worship services because our current building is over utilized and another building 25 minutes away is under utilized. Then they built one 8 minutes away, and I have been happy ever since.

There are no less than five churches closer to us than the one we go to in North Orem. We drive a whopping five minutes to get to church.Originally posted by Clark Addison View PostBeen there. For a while we were going to a building that was the fourth closest to our house, 30 minutes away.

We drive by no less than five churches to get to our chapel. It takes us around 15 minutes depending on the traffic. None of those churches we pass are LDS, however.Originally posted by Bo Diddley View PostThere are no less than five churches closer to us than the one we go to in North Orem. Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.
