I remember my first year at scout camp. We were all gathered in the mess hall, about to eat, and someone was asked to bless the food. Chris Petzold -- the guy sitting next to me -- turns and says, "they shouldn't bless this food, they should administer to it."

Someone ought to do a study to determine whether prayer is simply bactericidal or whether it is also effective against preformed bacterial toxins.

I would also like to see a study to determine why prayers get blocked by hats. Do hats have some special anti-prayer properties?
