Virtually never. I did go in Hawaii (Maui - Lahaina area I think). The members were very welcoming, but the number of haole tourists lining their pews felt a little awkward. I got the impression that maybe it wasn't their favorite thing.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I have a buddy who took his family to Fiji for Christmas and they went to the local ward/branch. The members were really excited and welcoming and asked his family (who are not musical) to sing a Christmas hymn in English in front of the whole congregation. Fijian is definitely a language. Fiji has 3 official languages: Fijian, English, and Hindi. There is a huge ethnic Indian population in Fiji as their ancestors were brought over as laborers and indentured servants.Comment
