Yes, very interesting. I wonder what the story behind this photo is. Those look like Gs to me.

Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Wow. Didn't notice that. You appear to be absolutely right.

My wife once had to share a bed in a hotel room with a female French post-doc who would sleep in just a thong. You can't seriously expect a French person to cover her garments. You're already asking too much if you expect them to wear them at all.

It's great that you believe that story.

You have the best stories on CUF. All the interesting stuff seems to happen to you. You are like the Forrest Gump of CUF.

Oh, that wasn't what I was suggesting at all. Dude.

It was a joke. Relax for Pete's sake.

Wait, was Pete in the other bed? What was(n't?) he wearing? I'm confused.

My ex-wife had oral sex with a girl, clamed that it wasn't consensual, and then stayed the rest of the night in the same bed with the girl that did it. I didn't get to hear this story until we had been married for about a year and a half. I wanted to make her go confess it. That's when I realized that when a person wants his/her spouse to go confess, it's usually just because he/she just wants his/her spouse to get in trouble. I didn't care that she had messed around with a girl. I was just tired of her in-your face religiosity and wanted to give her a dose of her own medicine.

P.S. Maybe I should post this on CB after my suspension is lifted and see what happens next.

She's completely mormon. I was a missionary in Nice and went to her house (her penthouse double-apartment that had had the walls removed) bunches of times. She's kind, eccentric, talented, and one hell of a member-missionary. She would invite us over, along with 4-6 friends, associates, or hired-hands and pepper her friends with questions about religion. When they stumbled or didn't know or there was some other opening, she would turn to us and ask us to enlighten the group. Pretty good for someone who appeared in "Midnight Cowboy."

My claim to fame is that my companion and I helped her with the grunt-work on a couple of her art-projects. One of my duties entailed gluing angel-wings onto little cardboard cutouts of Mickey Mouse and then watching her paste them over a 25-foot mural of Nice's Baie des Anges.

Knowing her was one of the best experiences of the mission, although I highly doubt she would have any idea who I was if we met today. She kind of thought of missionaries as interchangeable parts (which I guess they kind of are).

I never met her, but I heard about her. I had a companion that helped her make something for Tiffanys for Valentines day one year. He knww computers and she didn't. He pretty much made the whole thing.

I was wondering if you knew her. I remember once getting into an argument with the sister missionaries who quit visiting her (she is, after all, a single woman). The sisters said, "it's really a waste of our time. All she does is invite people over to talk about religion. We never get to teach a discussion."

Yeah, if by "we get to talk about religion in the swankiest apartment in a really swanky city while munching on fine ice cream and watching an artist create something crazy/cool," you think we're wasting time, then I guess we are.

It felt like those old "salon" arrangements from 17th century France. Seriously, it was awesome.

THat is cool. I am a bit jealous that I never served in Nice. I only got crappy cities, for the most part.
