What I am curious about though is if you also shy away from reading the religion posts on CB. That board has it's crew, usually the "defenders of the faith" who like to grasp onto some GA's sentence and then spin it into their own fundamentalist mindset.

Does reading the thoughts of the far right in the church bother you as much as reading those you consider to be to the left.
