I live my life based on what I consider to be really important. The area I think I will get the worst marks for is how much of my time I sacrificed to help others. Like visiting the sick and poor. I hope the taxes I pay will count.

Other than the helping others, I will be in good shape based on what I consider important. If what a lot of church members think is important is what is important, I will not be hanging out with DDD in the Celestial Kingdom.

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God". This is why Paul talked about having hope beyond this life and trusting in the grace of God. I firmly believe that Christ, through His atonement, fills in the gaps where we fall short. He will know and will grant us the reward we deserve. Tonight is presumably the anniversary of Gethsemane. It was there that Christ truly knew us; we can only hope to know Him. The Atonement heals and somehow perfects us. That is motivation enough for me to try and do my best.

I expect conciousness of any form to end. Why would that be so bad?
