"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

And it looks like they'll be able to move it in case of emergency.
Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...

None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.

I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

At least they are going away from the standard style. It's nice to see a little architectural ingenuity.
I think they've been playing it pretty safe since the disasters that are the Provo and Ogden temples.
How about a non-white building, where it isn't all about the steeple?

:anger: I'm still bitter they replaced the pillar of fire with a white steeple.

No kidding. That symbolism was the one good thing you could say about the architecture of the Progden temple.

But it looked terrible and kinda cheap. I prefer the change, even though the white doesn't match the rest of the building.

Looks similar to the Clinton Presidential Library....down by the river.

The modular design will make it easy to expand as more people move into the temple district.
