This was in response to an earlier CB thread about "the best two years". I can buy that a mission can be a "good" or "very good" two years, but I don't buy for a second that it will ultimately end up being someone's best two years in the long run, unless for some the reasons listed in the poll.Originally posted by wuapinmon View PostPost the damned poll here and quit hyping that pedestrian site.

at 22-23 maybe. If it still is at 52/53 you've had a very boring/non eventful life.
I may be small, but I'm slow.
A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."

I always called my mission the best two year of my life so far. I've easily surpassed those two year with marriage and fatherhood. I will always look back on those days fondly, but those years pale in comparison to my life since."To the man who only has a hammer, everything he encounters begins to look like a nail."

If a mission were the best two years of your life, you are a loser. My mission was great, granted, but every sequence of two years at any other given point in my life was probably better. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Well I did grow up a lot and learned Spanish. And I wasn't depressed like I usually am... hard to say that it was the best, b/c there was a lot of really bad stuff mixed in there."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! I'll make his whole brand go under,"
