It's really frustrating watching liberals talk about compensation.

Yeah, we never gave it up.

There is little Mormon about anything those jokers are doing. Very dishonest bunch.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Broad strokes. They like to think of "Mormon" being like use of the term "Jewish." You may eat bacon cheeseburgers, but if your grandparents are Jewish, by golly, so are you.

Wuapinmon obviously understands that as well as the difference between the church using it as a brand and a group such as this using it. He is either just stirring things up or being difficult.

I read some of those comments.

How do some people end up so weird? The strange and bizarre causes they care about and the total inability to ever belong to any group or community with any longevity. Batshit crazy. Sad, I suppose but how does that happen?

Seriously, why would someone recommend to give money to a girl or minority that podcasts just because they are a girl or minority? How do these people get so weird?

Yeah, I've heard that. It's pretty disingenuous. Big difference between violating some dietary law and espousing a position that the whole religion is bunk. And big difference between being Jewish and being Mormon, particularly in terms of ethnicity. They are dishonest in their branding, which I am sure is purposeful.

That was just an example of someone who does not espouse the religious tenets yet still identifies a Jewish. IMany exmos and postmos still heavily identify as Mormon. I remember reading a book where an orthodox Jewish character referred to non-believing Jews as "Jewish goyim (gentiles)," which is sort of what I'm hearing from you.

She's still pretty salty about that. Wants PFS to investigate Dehlin because, after all, she was reported on when she wanted to buy a new laptop.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

                          Rosebud weighs in:

I have decided to say one more thing and then will do my best to exit this drama and not read responses here. I do ask that if JD or the OSF responds with its "statement" that someone let me know. I may be ignoring only because I'm trying to shut this out of my life.

(And if anyone on the OSF board reads this, please consider Money's number and payment of employees issue and how that increased JD's power over me dramatically.)

This is hard to write, but it needs to be said. Like a lot of women, I have been violently raped more than one time. What JD did to me with his emotional manipulations, and, well, I'm not going to get into everything he did or the whole drama he's created of his life that I unfortunately am now part of, was far worse than the rapes.

I know there will be those who will argue and defend, say that I am wrong to have experienced my life the way I have, that my response to JD is hardly JD's "fault," or whatnot, but if I could have exchanged this experience for a few more violent rapes, I would gladly have done so. There is great harm in emotional, sexual and power manipulation coupled with Internet intimidation, public exposure, and the power games he's playing with the church.

He is a very dangerous man.
