I thought I had asked this before, but I couldn't find the thread. I'm interested in some combined priesthood-RS meeting ideas to use on the 5th Sundays this year. I feel like my ward has heard me ramble enough and would like to have an interesting or at least useful discussion.

Meet in the chapel, and pre-select ten people to give a 30 second testimony of what hymn is their favorite, and why. And then sing the hymn. My ward did this on a fifth Sunday last year and it was a nice change of pace. -
Choose any peripheral topic, e.g. Home/Visiting Teaching, Temple attendance, geneology, and give 10 minutes each to the RS, EQ, and HP presidents and let them go.
We have also talked about managing debt, emergency preparedness, etc. The rule seems to be to talk about anything other than actual doctrine.Comment
