Rammell is now making a big deal out of how it will be members of the church that will save the Constitution. Maybe God meant Harry Reid.

Looks like the Church has smacked Rammell down:
Kim Farah, spokeswomen for the LDS church, issued this statement:

"The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is politically neutral and does not endorse or promote any candidate, party or platform. Accordingly, we hope that the campaign practices of political candidates would not suggest that their candidacy is supported by or connected to the church.

"The so-called 'White Horse Prophecy' is based on accounts that have not been substantiated by historical research and is not embraced as Church doctrine."

I haven't done any research, but this kind of official statement/smackdown seems unprecedented. I like it. Rammell, meanwhile, plans to go ahead with his meeting. The percentage of crackpots in attendance will be high, I predict.

That is awesome. I think the Church has come a long way in the last few years when it comes to protecting and cultivating its image. I like that the statement says the Church wants political candidates to not just refrain from suggesting they are supported by the Church but connected to it as well.

Your middle school served boobs for lunch? That actually explains a lot.

Well, I did a little research of my own:

In January 2010 he again faced controversy when the media obtained an invitation to a private meeting that Rammell had handed out to his friends. Friends were specifically "Mormon men". When asked by Nate Shelman, KBOI radio, why women were not invited, Rammell stated that is not how Mormon families work. Men are the head of the household. The men go home and tell the women.
From just a couple of weeks ago:

Former Idaho gubernatorial candidate Rex Rammell has been charged with poaching an elk in eastern Idaho. Bonneville County Prosecutor Bruce Pickett says the Idaho Falls man was charged Tuesday with misdemeanor possession of game that was unlawfully taken. Idaho Fish and Game said Rammell was in illegal possession of an elk on Dec. 8. When an officer asked Rammell for his hunting permit, he produced one for a different zone that expired in October. Rammell said previously he thought the tag enabled him to hunt in any area he chose to. Rammell ran in the Republican primary for Governor this year and two years ago as an Independent for the U.S. Senate. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Dec. 23.

I heard him on the radio the other day saying he didn't do anything illegal. Defending what he did. Interesting. Said he tagged the elks and had a liscense to do it.

The way she draws her eyebrows on makes were look permanently surprised. It's disconcerting. I thought the days of women thinking that is attractive were over.

not to disagree with you, but it was 2007 when those pictures were taken. Much of the intermountain west is behind styles and fashions too, so 2007 in Idaho/Utah is like 2005 elsewhere.

That fails to explain the mid-70s cosmetic phenomenon we're witnessing in the 2007 pictures.

no, there were plenty of women her age who were doing their make-up like that five or six years ago. I can think of around dozen students that did their eyebrows like that, even a fellow grad student.
