One of the advantages to living in a climate that doesn't get snow very much is they cancel Church. No cancellation today but they're only having Sacrament at 1pm with a few other wards. Sweet!

I'm surprised if you didn't, the SP was at our meeting. They extended the meeting to an hour and a half. I wish they would have told us that it was going to be longer than normal before hand so I could have prepared better to keep my toddler quiet and behaving. Those last 20 minutes felt like an eternity. I think half the stake new my daughter was hungry by the end of the meeting. Mostly because she kept yelling "I'm hungry."Originally posted by UtahDan View PostWow I was hoping for this too, but no word so far."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

Because you need all three hours. Does your ward ever consider tossing you over the side?Originally posted by UtahDan View PostWow I was hoping for this too, but no word so far.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I'm going to attend your ward tomorrow.Originally posted by Surfah View PostSnow Day! No church tomorrow.
They haven't even plowed our street. There is 20" of snow on the road. The USPS carrier and the garbageman didn't come today.

Gidget is actually excited that she doesn't have to sing now. I was looking forward to it. I get to sleep in and watch football all day now.Originally posted by FN Phat View PostHold up! Last year shortly after ward divided they decided to only take sacrament and maybe have speakers just in case. Well after abbreviated Sacrament Meeting with speakers the weather was decent so could of had 3 hours of church. Combined wards. Some wards did not have church though.

Ha, good for her. I actually look forward to this Sunday more than most. Our ward basically dedicates the time after the sacrament to musical numbers and short testimonies. I've always loved Christmas music in Sacrament meeting and our ward has some extraordinarily talented people when it comes to piano, flute, singing, etc.Originally posted by Surfah View PostGidget is actually excited that she doesn't have to sing now.
