    I'm thinking of showing these to my teenage kids in FHE and having a discussion about evolution and creation and Bible literalism. My own kind of inoculation, I suppose.

    1. For the science guys: are these videos accurate? I'm not an evolution expert, but this video seems to go right along with my understanding.

    2. Good or bad idea to have this kind of discussion with young teenagers?

      When I was in middle school, I would get in big arguments with other kids about evolution. In Utah County, it was like me versus the world. That is something I regret. After you innoculate them, you might want to warn your kids about getting into those situations. It's not worth it.

                  Those are pretty good, but they are relatively specific about fossil evidence, so it might be better to first show them a good introduction to how evolution works before getting bogged down in evidence that they won't understand the significance of.

                  I'd therefore recommend starting with something like this:

                  Alternatively, the video just before the ones in the series you posted gives a decent summary of the idea as well, albeit in a more aggressive style.

                      Sadly, this is probably a pretty accurate representation of how evolution gets taught in a lot of schools.
