"The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."
"They talk about the economy this year. Hey, my hairline is in recession, my waistline is in inflation. Altogether, I'm in a depression."
"I like to bike. I could beat Lance Armstrong, only because he couldn't pass me if he was behind me."
So I think we can agree that Roadshows were eventually disbanded due to the androgenous side effects it had on many of its participants. I remember a roadshow from my youth where I was tasked to play a polked dotted swan singing some rendition of "seven swans a swimming". It was good practice for the day that I donned silver tights, a tutu and a blond wig with a tiara to play "Suzy Snowflake" at the ward Christmas party. People still talk about that 20 years later. In fact, the costume was so good that I ran a 10K Christmas race the following weekend so dressed and won the best costume award. The award was a beautiful Christmas wreath that has adorned my fireplace every Christmas since then. So roadshows had some benefit for me.
