It is our family's tradition to DVR Saturday sessions of GC, and then watch them for family night over the next few months.
It is our ward's tradition to meet for Mexican food before Priesthood session. While there, one of the most popular questions is "Was there any talk you particularly liked?" The last couple of years, I have just answered with "No, I haven't watched any of it yet", but I get disapproving stares from some people, so I am looking for an alternate strategy. If anyone hears a talk they realy liked, could you post the elevator speech of it here? Something like:
"I really liked President Monson's talk on (Charity/Service/Home Teaching); the examples he gave about the (widows/Deacon's quorum President/Inactive Brother) in his ward when he was a Bishop were really touching"
Come to think of it, I could maybe just use variations of that. My other option is that if anyone talks about Porn, please let me know, and I'll just go with:
"I really appreciated Elder XXXXX's words on pornography, as I am really struggling with that right now."
