Can they do that? I thought the king family copyrighted his image.

I think that is Martin Luther King right next to Robert E. Lee.Originally posted by All-American View PostRobert E. Lee. No, really, Robert E. Lee. Standing next to Lincoln, Tubman, and Douglass.
Just, how?

Note that the women are not participating in the ordinance.Originally posted by Commando View PostOOOh is that when the Ghosts of Presidents Past appeared to Trump in the Oval Office and ordained him with the Keys to the Executive Branch? Very inspiring...
And not just the women. Not everyone loves declaration number two.

Is that JFK front and center? Seems rather off-brand for McNaughton, no?Originally posted by BigPiney View Post
And who is the tall drink of water in the back right with the great head of hair?

This - you milk the cow with the milk. You mine where there's gold. You dance with the one that brought you. You grease the squeaky wheel. You dance like nobody's watching, but you can't make him drink.Originally posted by wapiti View PostI'm guessing he's making good $$$. That's probably his angle.

I've never been to Mt Rushmore - though I've been interested in seeing it. It's just never made the top of my list of places to go "now".
For the first time, I'm starting to think I might need to go see it before it's gone. Not that it's imminent - but it sure feels like it's more at risk than ever before.
I definitely want to see it before the Trump addition.
Honestly - I've generally believed that McNaughton was pretty genuine in his artwork. A little off, like many of Trump's most fervent supporters. But genuine.
With this latest - for the first time I've started to wonder if he's also trolling people. I mean, I know he's a big Trump supporter. But I'm starting to think that he also enjoys the strong responses he gets. Like he's living rent free in their heads or something.
Then I look over his body of work - and I honestly have no idea where he's coming from.
