Iced Cocoa at Starbucks. I love Japanese cocoa; not sweet at all, almost bitter, and very rich in flavor. The American version makes be gag; too syrupy in its sweetness. Went to Starbucks this afternoon after lunch with work colleagues and ordered the iced cocoa for the first time. Excellent, although Japanese grande is like an American small.

While standing there my colleagues were giving me a hard time about my no-coffee, no-tea, no-beer, no-etc. commitments. In response, I noted that I didn't care, because they were all going to hell anyway. One guy then noted that he knew enough about my beliefs to understand that Mormon hell really isn't that bad a place afterall. I thought that was funny.

    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Don't tell me this. I walk by the Starbucks at Ebisu Station every morning (I work right next to it) after putting my scooter in the scooter/bike garage. I'm sure I could blow my entire expat package on Starbucks.

Try it out Tim. Of course, you will be toying with the whole "avoid the very appearance of evil thing." Be careful.

Starbucks in Japan used to have a couple of their frappacinos that were WoW approved. I looked up the ingredients so I knew which ones. They were absolute calorie bombs, though, so moderation is key.
Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

Those Japanese are so inventive! Still though, mbn, what were you doing not drinking fair trade cocoa? You corporate shill.

I liked the coffee shops in China. There is always some kind of fun mango or tropical fruit smoothie looking thing that was pretty tasty.

Japan and the US have that in common.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

That rocks. I'd buy that guy a beer.

Hey North Carolina BBQ and Memphis BBQ, now that the two of you live in the same town, have you found any good American eateries?

I hope you enjoyed those knock-off fruity drinks. Which vendor? Jannba Juice or Smoothy King?
