  • Beer Pretzles

A girl in my office recently brought in what she called "beer pretzels." Now, these aren't pretzels dipped in beer...which may or may not encourage some of you to try the recipe. But what she did do was add quite a kick to them with various spices and peppers. They were very tasty and would make a great game-day snack...just make sure you have some water or something to drink while you munch!

    Here's the recipe:

2 lbs of sourdough pretzels (I use the pounder bags with the little pretzels)
    1 cup oil
2 packages Hidden Valley Ranch dressing and seasoning mix
    1 Tbs creole seasoning
    1 tsp steak seasoning salt
    1/2 tsp chili powder
    2 tsp cayenne pepper
    1 tsp crushed red pepper

Stir all of the above in a large bowl. Place on cookie sheets in a 200 degree oven for 1.5 hours. Stir every 30 mins.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
